During the holiday season, we know that finding the perfect holiday gift for your loved one is at the very top of your to-do list. That’s why this year we’re recommending adding some flare and creativity to your holidays, by giving your loved one’s do-it-yourself wine-themed Christmas Gifts:
DIY 12 Days of Wine:
A fun spin on an old classic! All you need to get started:
- 12 holiday gift tags
- 12 bottle bags
- A sharpie
- 12 different bottles of wine
Wrap up each bottle in a bottle bag and decorate with a tag. Write the numbers 1 – 12 on each of the bottle tags and voila! We suggest ending your Twelve Days of Wine with our Australian Pinot Noir, which features notes of ripe black cherries, red berry fruits and delicate spice notes.
DIY Wine Kit:
A DIY Wine Kit by RJS Craftsmaking is the perfect gift for the wine enthusiast in your household. Made with only the highest quality grapes, we offer wine making kits in numerous different varietals! With the RJS Wine Kit, you can select your wine, winemaking equipment, and even bottle and label your own wine. Give the gift of winemaking this year.
DIY Wine Basket:
Just like the name suggests, putting together a DIY Wine Basket can be a whole lot of fun! All you need to get started:
- One small basket
- Tissue paper
- A bow
- 3-4 wine bottles
To start, take your small basket, fill it with tissue paper and align your bottles inside the basket. Simply wrap your basket with cellophane and tie it with a holiday-themed bow.
When it comes to bottle selection, we have a few recommendations:
- The first suggestion is our German Riesling Gewurztraminer, which features flavours of citrus, floral and honey.
- Our next recommendation is our Italian Zinfandel in which plump dark fruits are framed by the aromas of tobacco and dark coffee.
- Our third suggestion to round out the basket is a Chardonnay from Chile that has hints of pineapple, melon and peach.
We hope our recommendations and wine gifting ideas spark DIY creativity in your household this holiday season!
